Anyone round here

Post by beardedlamb »

Anyone on the forum know someone who would be good for the OOB Stool Pigeon? Must be mildly-wildly famous. This is serious. We have money for him/her.

Please contact me/us.

Michael Moorcock?

I don't know him, but he's fairly easy to get a hold of and lives in Bastrop. He does signings in Austin a few times a year. I've heard him speak, and he's full of stories from his life (not just the ones he makes up).

Tim League did the OoB Stool Pigeon a few years ago, and he was great. They're probably looking for a new person this year though.

Try Jarret Crippen.

1) He's an APD Detective who won the second season of "Who Wants to be a Superhero?" As his character "The Defuser." Wizard World has him booked to travel to comic cons all over the country to play that char, and he's met some of the icons of TV heroes like Lou Ferrigno, Kevin Sorbo, Adam West and Burt Ward.

2) He was in an original SyFy Movie with Kevin Sorbo.

3) He's the founder of "Scare for a Cure" Austin's charity haunt at Britannia Manor which raised over $20,000 for breast cancer research last year. He's also been on News 8 and K-EYE numerous times promoting the haunt.

This guy has loads of interesting crap going on in his life and could make for an intriguing guest.

Bill Kirchenbauer

We had him once when he moved to Austin years ago and haven't heard anything from him since. I checked online and it says he's represented by Blue Moon Talent, but I've seen him on the web site for Acclaim Talent here in Austin.

I third animatronic LBJ. I saw him live once. Seemed like a nice guy.

I second Jarrett Crippen - he makes a great guest and will play along with just about anything with good humor.

Alex is right, you just have to see LBJ to believe it.

Sandra Bullock.

just sayin'...she might have some stuff to talk about...

(but Justin's suggestion of Moorcock is pretty fucking sweet, too! had no idea he lived in Bastrop!)
