Vector logos for local theaters?

As I venture into designing posters for improv shows, I wonder if it's possible to obtain vector copies of the logos of local theaters... I've scoured the Hideout, New Movement, and ColdTowne websites -- none of them even make clean raster images of their logos available for use in promotional materials. Yet I've seen such materials in the wild. What do I need to do?

Possible solutions

1) Grab an unclean raster image (you could even take a digital picuture) of the logo.

2) Clean up the image in a raster image edit program

3) Convert the raster image to a SVG with a number of possible tools:
http://vectormagic.com/home (this one is the best one I ran into but it is not free, just 2 images for trial purposes)

4) Clean up the SVG with a SVG program (a few free ones on net, cannot really say which ones are best)

Thanks, Howard. I can use Illustrator to trace an image, but I was wondering if there were "official" ones -- those tend to look better.

Thanks, Kaci. I'll send you my email.

That would be a lot of vector art.

(I have weird dreams.)

I am amused by the replacement of Movement with Defecation.

Hahaha!

Makmin, come here and give me a hug. It's been so long since I've hugged it out with a spambot.

That's very big of you, considering his obvious feelings towards TNM... :)
