Out of Bounds presents the Well Hung Jury Memorial Scholarship.
This scholarship offers the winner a free All Shows pass for the 2006 festival as well as a Full Ride scholarship for the Out of Bounds Workshop Series, a combined $155 value.

This award will go to the best new format idea for improvisation. Any and all ideas accepted so long as they are original. Submissions can be given in any form deemed necessary by the applicant. Video, essay, internet, some combination of these, or any other way we have not thought of is acceptable.

One of the founding goals of Out of Bounds is to showcase groups that produce work falling out of the normal boundaries expected by the public. We want the boundaries of what improv can do to be stretched and new ground to be chartered in the art form.

The judges will be a panel of OOB staffers. Submissions are in no way property of Out of Bounds or any entity related to it. It will always be your work and your ideas. OOB staffers applying for the scholarship will not be sitting on the decision committee (duh.) Entry is not limited to performers in the festival. This award will go to one person, not to a group. There is no fee to enter. Multiple entries are allowed. No purchase necessary.

Submissions Due August 10
Announcement of the winning scholarship will be August 15

Please hand your submissions to Shana, Jeremy, or Shannon before August 10th or mail it to The OOB office at 1605 Cloverleaf Drive, Austin TX 78723

Questions can be posted here and will be answered in approximately 4 minutes.
Thank you and good luck,
OOB

this is a classic bump.

These scholarship entries are due on August 10. Right now we have two entries, so if you can get one in it might be a good way to save some dough on classes and a festival pass.

this has been a classic bump.

sincerely,
oob

also,
we're already getting interest from people to register for classes as soon as they are available. If you'd like to register to secure spots in the classes, but you're also entering the scholarship process, upon you winning the scholarship, your registration money will be refunded.

this deadline has been extended to august 12 cuz there's really no reason not to. We're up to four entries now.

Get them to either shannon or myself this weekend or any time via the international net or internet.

thank you,
oob

Will either of you be at the hideout this evening? I'll be there for Cops and Lawyers and have some ideas for you. Can I still give them to Shana (as she should be at Cops and Lawyers as well, I think)?

i don't believe either of us will be at the hideout this evening but i will see shana tomorrow for sure, so if you have something to give her, that's cool beans.

btw, i'm a marxist, not a communist.
