Scene Work Assault Intensive – JULY 16th & 17th (10am -3pm)
Sometimes in improv scenes “play fast” and “listen” are not the best
of friends. This workshop will focus on techniques you can use to play
with force without being a ball hog. After tackling these concepts in
scenes we’ll turn our attention to making these concepts work in a
show. Our job isn’t over when our scene ends, we have to keep
listening to the show. (***Workshop will include a Sunday night show!) REGISTER HERE
Characters: Inside Out and Outside In – JULY 16th (4:00 – 6:30pm)
Am I playing a character or myself? How close to myself can I play
before it stops being a character? Are these questions even important?
This workshop will ask players to create characters by working outside
in and inside out and find confidence in their play. Strong play has a
strange habit of making those questions not matter. (** There will be overlap
between the two workshops!) REGISTER HERE
