Have you heard of Wendelfest?

Because if you haven't, listen closely.

Imagine having a 50 acre land all to yourself, filled with tall trees, grassy clearings and a beautiful river.
Now picture yourself in the middle of that land, surrounded by hundreds of happy people, dancing, singing, drinking and eating, bands playing music all day and all night, copious amounts of food and beer available free for the hungry and the thirsty.
Picture the little camp site you formed with all your friends, old and new, at a beautiful clearing within this land. Fire is going strong, tents and hammocks all around, people come people go, some are asleep and others are just chilling.

Well, this is exactly what our good friend Wendel has created right at his own home! A big party, just for one day, where he invites anyone and everyone to participate and enjoy themselves. All he's asking in return is a $10 donation for admission... once inside WendelFest, NOTHING IS SOLD. Wendel and his wife Tina graciously donate the use of their land for the festival, so the camping is free, Dinner is free, the Beer is free, and the live music is free. Your donations pay for the food, beer, and live-music. If there's any money left over after expenses, it all goes towards the following year's Wendelfest.

Save the date: Saturday, May 7th!
This has been going on annually for the past 10 years or so. We were there last year and it was the event of a lifetime!

I highly recommend going if you're even remotely interested in this. It is a great time, with wonderful people all around and getting a group of improvisers out there would make it even greater!
