ColdTowne Theater is now accepting submissions for June through July 2011. We have a lot of submissions, so the more information the better!

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION is May 1, 2011

Please be wary of overlapping casts in troupes. ColdTowne Theater would like a variety of troupes on our stage, with a variety of people. We are shying away from troupes whose players are also in a lot of other troupes. We love giving stage time, but our audiences need a variety of faces.

OPEN SHOW TIMES
General Shows= Wednesday @ 8:30pm, Thursday at 8:30 & 10pm, and Sunday at 7:30pm.
Thursday Night Month-Long Run = Creative show ideas that run a month long on Thursdays at 8:30pm (improv) and 10pm (sketch). For our Thursday night runs, we are looking for show concepts that go beyond usual improv formats. For Example, the recent run of Victrola, a "Fully Improvised Comedic Penny Dreadfuls & Thrilling Tales of Humerousness" in the dark. (8:30pm) We also have Thursday night month-long for sketch troupes (10pm).
Late Night Shows = Friday and Saturday nights at 11:30pm. For our late night shows we are open to most concepts, so if you have a creative and unusual idea for a late night show, let us know! the most successful late night shows include audience participation.

WHAT IS COLDTOWNE LOOKING FOR?
We are primarily looking for submissions from improvisation and sketch troupes. All facets of improvisation including, but not limited to, short form, long form, solo, duo and ensemble based tropes (from all over Austin!) will be considered. Preference is given to troupes who consistently perform well and market their shows. One submission form per show submission. For example, if Midnight Society would like to apply for general shows and a late night show slot, they would submit two separate forms. Troupes that perform well and market their shows are more likely to get slots.

NOTIFICATION
We will notify all submitting troupes via email by May 7, 2011. If your troupe did not get selected for a show slot, please email us-we are more than happy to explain our decisions.
