Ever thought you were funnier than the comic on stage? Come down and prove it. The Lumberjack Match is the only standup show where the audience has to heckle to make it work. Milo and Shyla are pillars of The New Movement community and put on a killer show.Using guided meditation, free associative dream talk and primal screaming, the audience is abducted into a world of freedom, laughter and kindness. Stupid Time Machine are building quite a reputation for themselves on the festival circuit, having performed at the New York, Chicago and New Orleans fringe festivals while also manning the Nola Improv community.

9:30p: !Attencion! (Chicago/Austin) + Victory Point (Dallas) at The New Movement- $10

!Attencion! is a festival side project featuring comedy festival regulars Chris Trew and micah philbrook. Together they have a estimated combined 50,000 hours performing comedy. They have been on stage together for precisely 30 minutes. Victory Point is the best of the best from the Dallas Comedy House, our cousin theater up north.

9:00p: James Adomian, Kyle Kinane, Shane Mauss, Vanessa Ramos and more at The ND – $10

James Adomian is a regular performer at UCB’s Comedy Death Ray and has appeared in tons of online videos and movies that you love. He should be thoroughly researched and showered with thunder claps and love lightning bolts at the ND during Hell Yes Fest.

SATURDAY APRIL 9TH

8:00p: Dance Crisis (New Orleans) + Spirit Desire (Austin) at The New Movement – $10

Dance Crisis is the prestigious first-ever troupe birthed from The New Movement’s New Orleans training center! We are proud to host their festival debut. Spirit Desire is a house troupe from The New Movement Austin, also know as The Alice in Chains of Comedy. Nobody knows what that means, but Spirit Desire is certainly one of the most bizarre and notable troupes in Texas.

9:30p: Stupid Time Machine (New Orleans) + Tim and micah (Chicago) at The New Movement – $10

This is the second appearance for STM and Tim and micah at Hell Yes Fest, but this time it’s all Sketch Comedy!

Eliza Skinner (Shameless) has been called “Downtown NYC Comedy’s It-girl” by Go2 Media and “The funniest woman on the internet” by Abomb-nation.com. TimeOutNY.com said she was “Definitely one to watch.” You should read more about him here and her here . This show is hosted by James Patrick Robinson’s special program “Teens Get Tough on Terror.”

9:00p: Eliza Chris and Tami (Austin/New Orleans/Los Angeles/NYC)
The closing show of the first annual Hell Yes Fest will follow three improv veterans with a festival resume so fat it’s shadow weights 42 pounds. Ham on.
