Karaoke AND Improv! = Improvioke
Posted: April 4th, 2011, 10:42 am
NICE ASTRONAUT will be doing our second Improvioke show this SATURDAY at MIDNIGHT at COLDTOWNE THEATER for FREE. If you want to make up new lyrics to an old song and have us do scenes inspired from your improv-ed and improved interpretation, come on out.
We had a lot of fun last time learning that the real subtext to Sweet Caroline was "what the hell is an ocelot", the Beatles actually meant that someone made a wrong turn into the ghetto when they sang Yesterday, and Elvis had a Suspicious Mind about everyone because all he wanted was to get his fat hand into a cookie jar.
Come join us in letting your inner diva out. We'll supply the karaoke machine, you supply the lyrics.
