can someone please bring a script to the jam tonight? i really wanna play scene splitting (one person reads from a script, the other improvises) but i don't actually own any scripts. any play will do.
also, anyone else have ideas for games we could try/should work on at the jams? based on recent conversations i've been thinking about the following:

Documentary
The documentary is a GREAT exercise. It basically forces two people to agree, have a realtionship and develop character.
Basically two chairs at the front of the stage,
Someone acts as the "interviewer" and sits in front of the two chairs to help fecilitate the exercise.
Two people sit in the chairs and the interviewer asks how they met/ how they know each other. The two folks have to develop characters, stories about when they met. The interviewer will continue to ask questions realted to information revealed by the characters, helping to develop the characters relationship and explore details. I usually let it go for 2 to 3 min. When you are at the end, thank them for coming and one person rotates to the other chair a new person will come in, same drill as before, except they are new characters. This way, each person can do the exercise twice.
I would be happy to run upstairs tonight at break and help run one. We'll be rehearsing downstairs tonight from 7-9.
