Who wants to climb?!

Post by mcslionhair »

Looking for some exercise? some cool people to hangout with? or if you actually climb, some new climbing buddies? Problem solved: I, Quinn Buckner (Quayle, Dukes of Bedside Manor, Bolik not Zib) along with Aden Kirschner (GGG, you know who she is) have settled into a stable climbing routine and want more people to join our climbing schedule!

As of right now we climb at:
South Austin Rock Gym on Wed: 3-5
North Austin Rock Gym on Fri: 12-2
and North/South on Sat/Sun usually in the morning

Eventually once we get better at lead climbing we will be outside a lot more meaning it will be more free, but you'll need all your own gear so come out and try climbing in the gyms and maybe you'll get hooked.

Climbing is a great way to exercise your whole body and probably one of the funnest ways to do it. No experience is necessary everybody is welcome.

Thanks
-Quinn

here's the pricing list (memberships and day passes) for Austin Rock Gym, off of their website:

It's not cheap. It is really fun.

We might also be able to arrange a trip up to Main Event if enough people wanna give it a try. It's half the price.

If you come on Fridays (or some sun/sat) when we're at North gym you only need the shoes cause its a bouldering gym

and Wednesday (or some sun/sat) when we're at South gym you might need both shoes and harness because its mostly top roping

but they provide it for the price above if you don't own anything
so if you wanna save 5 bucks come on fridays or the sun/sat we go to north gym

The draft membership means that you give them your bank info and they take it out of your account automatically. The other way is to pay cash at the beginning of every month.
