The Violet Underbelly debuts Saturday March 5th at 8pm. As always, Hideout shows are free for improvisers. Come check out the dark improv we've been cooking up.

I leave every rehearsal almost giddy at the work the cast and crew are doing. Don't miss this show!

Presales are a little slow so far, but there will be a chronicle listing and a couple online blurbs shortly, so it should boost sales by saturday.

You're probably safe to swing by on Saturday and use your improviser comp, but I'll let you know if that changes drastically.

Oh wait, I'm supposed to lie.

"This show always sells out! Buy your tickets now, you damned fool!"

The Violet Underbelly returns tonight at 8pm, and rumor has it that Deano will be the protagonist. Everything else is up for grabs. Come on out!

Starting a startup is like science, in that you have to follow the truth wherever it leads.  In the rest of the world, people don't start things till they're sure what they want to do, and once started, they tend to continue on their initial path even if it's mistaken.

If I were a pirate and lost my hand, instead of a hook, I would get a big spoon. Sure, it may look funny, and the other pirates might tease me, but there's always a chance we could plunder a ship full of pudding, and who'd be laughing then?

Only two more shows left in the run*. If you haven't caught this show, please consider checking out of of our last shows. It's been so much fun watching the cast produce mean, terrible stories on stage.

* though rumor has it that there will be a special, one-off, late night performance in the not-too-distant future where all the booze and drinks will be real and consumed by the actors on stage.

The last show's coming up. I am sadly out of town for the finale. If you haven't seen this show yet, you should really come check it out. It's produced some really great work.

Michael Yew took some fantastic photos of last week's show:
