Let me add to the abundance of Dans that pollute the improv stream. (NB: 'Abundance' is the correct collective noun)
I've been studying improv for a couple of years here in Austin at The New Movement. I like it. I makes me happy.
I perform with a couple of troupes and like to do the odd one off show from time to time.
Following the vein of a post about the prevalence of geeks and nerds in improv, it's probably apropos to say that I'm one of the organizers of the monthly Nerd Nite event. If you like improv, I think you'll like us.
Looking forward to meeting some of you IRL as well as swapping ideas about improv.
Dan

Dan Rumney is great! You all should see him perform funny improv sometime at The New Movement or with Quite Well Thank You in The Threefer! Also, he has the best British accent in Austin;)
Cheers,
Britt
