Auditions for False Matters--Improvised Philip K. Dick

Next Sunday, March 6th, from 2:30 to 4:30, during the Merlin Works Improv Mixer (announcement forthcoming) Gnap! will be holding auditions for our next prime time show, False Matters--Stories Improvised in the Style of Philip K. Dick, directed by me, Shannon McCormick.
The show will run Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, May 20 through June 11.
Rehearsals will be Tuesday evenings starting in April and some Sundays to be announced.
Knowledge of PKD's work will be extremely helpful, but not vital. We'll be looking to go to those places Dick mined in his work--multiple identities, split layers of reality, conspiracy theories, drugs as a (chimerical?) gateway to higher consciousness--and we'll be looking to do so in a way that feels not like a narrative longform going off the rails (see the above list) but one that we're in control of, that has consequence, that is intentional, and that an audience can follow even if the ultimate truths remain elusive. Plus, there might be androids and a show or two set on an offworld colony.
Check your precognition and see if you'll be there.
