It's a busy week on Dancy Street!

The Dancy Street D'Orchestra is celebrating our one year anniversary with great pomp and circumstance this week.

First, the D'Orks will be hitting KOOP 91.7 Wednesday at 6 pm to blast some improvised musical fabulousness over the airwaves.

THEN we are headlining the Threefer on Thursday at 8 pm at the Hideout with our Objects of D'esire show, with special guest Jordan Maxwell. It will be running all of February, with a special guest star every week. Audience members can win a special onstage serenade. And (wait for it) there will be Valentine's candy. Sweet.

The Dancy Street D'Orks are:

Amy Averett
Monique Daviau
Kristin Firth
Howard Katz
Topping Haggerty
Susannah Raulino
Peter Rogers
Neal Tibrewala

with Musical Improvisors Dave "Stringbreaker" Rosenbaum and Chelsea "The Rhythm Moment" Gilman

Which reminds me of many years ago when I worked with a sound man nicknamed "Squeaky". Hmmm... somehow not entirely confidence-inspiring.

Better than the next one we had nicknamed "Tweaky" for his meth habit.

Congrats on the anniversary, DSD! :D

Nice job DSD. Caught the last 40 minutes or so. Loved the "Sailing Into the Sunset" Chorus Master bit.
