I love nights like tonight.

An improv/comedy group called The Goondock Saints are playing in the Spectacle. I've never seen them. I don't know much about them.

I do know they're doing improv, standup, and maybe some sketches in their time block.

I also know that they're from Big Spring, TX, which is about 5 hours NW of Austin.

Anyhow, you should come and show some love and support to this group. Totally free for improvisers, as always. at 10pm. At The Hideout, of course.

oh man...i'm just picturing a random mash up of Boondock Saints and Goonies now. like, all the kids grow up to become assassins to take out organized crime in their seaside town (inspired by their experiences against the Fertellis as children).

It'll probably be exactly like that.

Errr... I originally said "miles" up there, but they're actually 5 HOURS away from Austin. Wayyyy more impressive.

LOVED THE SPECTACLE!

Absolutely LOVED the show last Friday night! Roy and Val did a great job holding it down. The Goondock Saints performed very well. The skits were genuine and bringing stand up to The Hideout gave a little twist. I thought Gooney was going to go the entire show with his pants off! LOVED IT GENIUS!
