The forum still thinks I'm a spammer (?!?!?) so I can't post the link for submissions, but you can go to the ColdTowne forum, OR if you have the link, because you received it via email or went to the CT forum, feel free to reply with it, because I can't.... :)

FEBRUARY AND MARCH TROUPE SUBMISSIONS!

Submissions for February and March Show Slots, Show Runs, and Late Night Slots are now open!

ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE December 31st!!!

ColdTowne Theater is now accepting applications for show slots February through March 2011! We are very excited about the large number of troupes submitting for shows! But with this many troupes, we've had to expand the application process, so remember: the more information you give us, the better decision we can make.

WHAT IS COLDTOWNE LOOKING FOR?

We are primarily looking for submissions from improvisation and sketch troupes. All facets of improvisation including but not limited to short form, long form, solo, duo and ensemble based tropes (from all over Austin!) will be considered. Preference is given to troupes who consistently perform and market their shows well-emphasis on performing well.

We are also looking for Thursday night runs and Friday and Saturday late night shows. If you are interested in submitting for either one of these slots, please indicate on your submission form. One submission form per show submission. For example, if Midnight Society would like to apply for show slots and a late night show slot, they would submit two separate forms. For our Thursday night runs, we are looking for show concepts that go beyond usual improv formats. For Example, the recent run of Victrola, a "Fully Improvised Comedic Penny Dreadfuls & Thrilling Tales of Humerousness" in the dark. For our late night shows we are open to most concepts, so if you have a creative and unusual idea for a late night show, let us know!

NOTIFICATION
We will notify all submitting troupes via email regarding their acceptance or rejection by January 5, 2011. If your troupe did not get selected for a show slot, please email us-we are more than happy to explain our decisions.

PLEASE SEND ALL QUESTIONS REGARDING SCHEDULING TO: coldtownebooking at gmail dot com

I think you have to make 5 or maybe 10 posts here before you can post links.

Hey there!
Thanks for posting this here!

Can I ask what the day and times of the show spots we would be submitting for? It just makes it easier to make sure we are not double submitting.

Thanks!

On the Submission Form, after you get past the first page, if you're submitting for any show slot, it gets more specific on dates that are open.

:)

I'll post a million random things so it stops thinking I'm a spammer. Wait, that will make me a spammer...

I think 5 is the magic number for you to start posting links. The Google doc is pretty solid - I'd only request that the specific show times be included in the next batch.
