People of Austin -
We are returning your Meghan Wolff to you for the holiday season.

People of Minneapolis -

We are loaning you the person of Eric Heiberg for the holiday season.
Please teach him the REAL secret of improv.
We will want him back after the last day of Heiberg Hibernation
or by the Same Years Eve (whichever comes first).
That is all.

I call for the immediate merger of the cities of Austin and Minneapolis! May they exist side by side, like hot and cold faucets, or the McDLT.

I think I've said this before; but as a former Minneapolitan, I don't think some sort of Austin/St. Paul switcheroo would be frowned at by most residents of Minneapolis.

have there ever been two improv festivals on the same weekend in two cities where everyone just switched? probly not. this should happen... in the summer, though. it would fix the problem of having to promote a show you're doing in another city, because everyone there would be promoting your show while you're promoting theirs in your home city. could work actually.

Except for the "in the summer" part. I think the Minneapolitans would push for the winter.

Fall could work. Cooler than we'd like - warmer than they might like, but the colors in MN that time of year are awesome. Rent a car and take a little jaunt up towards St. Cloud, or Brainerd, or if you've got more time - up to Bemidji and the Chippewa Nat'l forest. Gorgeous!

It's true, I'm the only Minnesotan who thinks it's ideal to summer in Austin given the choice. I'm the only Minnesotan over the age of 14 who loves snow. What are the rest of these assholes doing here? Who knows.

YAY! Switch!

Hey,
Let's trade our August for their February. We get snow, and they get summer. Oh, and we get Jill and Meghan back. That's part of the deal.

How bout they all come here for our best month and we all go there for their best month? Then we'll all be together with our Wolffs and Heibergs.
