happy turkey day!

Post by Rev. Jordan T. Maxwell »

where ever everyone is today, whomever's company you find yourself in, whatever you wind up doing...i hope you have some delicious food to go with it. :)

in that spirit, instead of listing what you're grateful for, what's the one T-day dish that you look forward to more than anything else?

for me, it's dressing. my great grandmother's recipe. it's one of my favorite things and this is the ONLY time of year i get to eat it. damn it! now it's becoming something i'm grateful for...sigh.

happy Thanksgiving, everyone...

Going to do a jigsaw puzzle with my mom, brother and his gf while the turkey cooks. It's either between a native american talking to wolfs or an Obama puzzle.

I LOVE THE STUFFING AND MASH TATERS!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!

i'm looking forward to family time and lots of delicious foods, specifically pumpkin pie.

also... i'm thankful for all the great people in my life. the austin improv community is so incredibly wonderful! i read my love notes and it made me feel so good to be part of this amazing group of people.

also also... in the last Dusk show, we discovered that the first thanksgiving's when vampires and werewolves formed from a food poisoning sickness, and as part of the new health care reform, the government burns you to death if they suspect you've been exposed. don't become a vampire over thanksgiving!

also also also... i'm chelsea gilman.

Today I have been picking at the dessert bowl of Pink Cloud, which I haven't had in years.  It's... lessee, Cool Whip, strawberry Jell-O, diced pineapples, and cottage cheese.  Winds up looking a bit like puréed brains, but tastes delicious.

Oh, and I posted my 'I'm thankful for' spiel here.

Oh man, it's so weird, in the Midwest they call that "salad"!

I love homemade cranberry sauce, and I'm thankful for being able to make a living for myself doing something that I feel is worthwhile, especially considering the current economic climate (BAM! out with the whimsy here)

Having spent a couple weeks in Omaha (or the city right outside of it) this past year, I can that certainly seemed like the closest thing most people there I met (including many restaurants) acknowledged as a salad.
