Wow, it's been about 16 years since I've been to a No Shame. I can't wait!

i think one of my first ever No Shames was on or around November 5, because i was inspired to interpret Valerie's letter from V for Vendetta as a staged performance (which inadvertently caused a discussion of what quantified "original material," which i found rather thought provoking). haven't been to one in years...wish i could make it tonight. :(

Anyone who doesn't make it is a ho.

(Does this belong in the "starting a fight" thread?)

I couldn't attend this anyway, but would somebody mind explaining the foreigner here what a No Shame entails?

Anything you want it to. Every person who signs up gets five minutes on stage, to do whatever they want.

This month included a reading from Mo's novel (which was awesome), a improved call to the bat hotline, a couple stand ups, a couple stories, an improved puppet dance, and some improved characters from Hugo

Should also add that the whatever you want should be original material, and you shouldn't physically harm the audience or the space. There are a couple rules. ;)
