Here's the deal, yo. I've made some revisions to the basic script, and added details about characters.

Hello, my name is Rory Harman.
I am going to be shooting a short film about ghost hunters, on Friday

There is a script, with a basic arc, but essentially, other than a few key plot points, particularly the climax, which is more effects heavy than dialogue centered, the actors can take the reins over most of the material.
It's supposed to resemble a documentary.

I am looking for actors, male and female in their 20s to 40s, with strong comedic senses.

Characters
Clive, lead ghost hunter. Brash, potentially violent. Short tempered and short witted, but with a strong sense of self importance. Also occasionally preoccupied with sex.

Christian, a psychic/clairvoyant. Mild tempered, and perhaps a little too sensitive. Stumbles over words. Only confidence is in belief in own psychic ability. A mouth breather. Kind of twee.

Cooper, a Cryptozoologist. Spaced out, slow witted, unintentionally destructive. Unintentionally, and unwittingly vulgar at times. Largely unfazed by the alleged haunting, since it does not involve yettis, or any other mythical creatures.

Laura Bradley, concerned homeowner. Occasionally overly explicit about the violent past of the building, and oddly nonchalant.

We will be working with multiple cameras, shooting simultaneously. We will shoot a number of short sequences pertaining to the investigation, followed by individual "confessionals", and then a rather bloody climax.

Further details past that can be obtained, if you are interested, by contacting me at RoryHarman AT gmail DOT com.
Please include a photo of some kind, or a link to one.

Thank you very much,
Rory Harman.

Whooooo! Progress!

So you need improvisers who can come perform on Wednesday??? (---edit FRIDAY???? )

Guys, Rory is good people. I watched a fun film he and friends put together. This should be a blast! Multiple camera setups are fun to act in. And this sounds nice and loose with tons of wiggle room.

Plus if you perform you'll get to watch the film at a screening in the next few weeks.

DO IT!

Hi Rory. :)

This sounds fun and I'd be all over it if I weren't teaching on Wednesday night. Good luck, Rory!

Honestly, most of the actual dialogue, and the plot overall, is pretty nongender specific.

In the evening, like after 6ish.

Hopefully only a couple of hours, really. What could take the longest is the interviews, since that's one on one, and the final sequence, since that involves having to set up for things like someone spraying blood out of their eyes. Which also wouldn't really take that long, it would just involve more stopping and starting.

Thank you for responding. Is there any time anyone would be able to meet me today to discuss any of this?

PLEASE READ
Due to rescheduling of a different project, my friday is now completely free, after 11 AM, and as such, shooting is being pushed back.

Casting is still open, and after revisions, female roles are available.

Please bolded portions of original posting.

Thank you very much.

My entire friday is now open, after 11:30 AM, and I'm trying to get availability from performers to nail down a time for sure.

He's not interested in how OPEN the schedule is, Rory. He wants to know his time committment. As in, can you guarantee "we'll only be shooting 5 hours from ___ to ____.
