Actually, family feud is in my car's back seat, so I ruined everything, probably.

We did caraoke* with jerm playing the music instead of family feud, so it all worked out. Worked out awesome. Thanks to everyone for getting it together, and coming out. And stuff.

* 'cause it's at the carousel, not the karousel.

Yeah, the end of the night was the best part.

I wonder if they call it Mauioke in Maui?

Last week?? at the Carousel I saw Kareem and crew do the most impressive Three Things I've ever seen (including some damn good ones at ComedySportz Chicago). Fluke? Maybe. Anyone can be in the zone once. Last night I saw a Three Things that rivaled the previous one. Fluke? Not twice.

I give a giant tip of my hat to those players, the players I didn't see, all of their instructors and other influencers, the Heroes of Comedy school and Austin improv in general.

I like Coca Cola.

For both of those rounds of three things, I've been trying to get them to encorporate Nazis. So far Himmler has been worked in. I was disapointed that they did not accept Geonocide as an activity one does around the house.

Also, big ups for getting Optomis Prime in under three seconds.

My problem with three (or, cough, five things) is you always get the same suggestions:

Spulunking [sic]
Scuba Diving
Jello
Elvis

Justin York, you are too kind.

If I had said an activity you do at camp, I'd have accepted genocide. But not around the house. It's too messy.

Well, there's another nail in the coffin of political aspirations.

I just call 'em like I see 'em.

I hope the quote thing works. Hear the cherry pop.

Back in the days with CSz and NCT we used to pull off "Ultimate 5 Things" wherein ALL of the players left the room. This added that extra level of difficulty cuz the players did not have time to come up with a "plan". Intead they were just thrown to the lions. Great fun it was!! You can imagine the response form the crowd when we nailed'em.

5 Things is definitely my favorite game of all time. I love the added challenge of the suggestions from improvisors.

Glad you liked it Justin...next time you should get up and play!

I'm still learning names that go with which screen names and avatars here, so excuse me if I get this wrong. But if this is the same Dav with the 185 Carpenters all die of anorexia line, I want you to know that my cheer was very sincere. Hilarious.

As a newbie to the Austin improv scene, I have to say that I was very impressed by the quality of what I saw at the Carousel show...

Yeah, the place is a dive, and the audience was small, but I don't think I've seen a funnier Three Things in my life...

Props to all who performed, but especially to a) the kind folks at the Improv Jam that invited me (us), and b) parallelogramaphonograph (sp?) for kicking some serious improv arse...

Thank you so much for the kind words. Not that I was actually there that night. :)

And you were very close on the spelling. You picked misspelling #31 on the official list:

Perhaps I should have gone with #29?
