Any news?Alex Gray wrote:As many of you know, the Lair has been a "promising but troubled" project from the day we opened. I am pleased to announce that we have overcome our original difficulties and after a short break for remodeling we will reopen in a position to offer our guests the experience they deserve. Not only are we upgrading our facilities, we will be offering food and drink in our cafe, I am putting together an aggressive advertising program and yes - there will be a sign out front and signs in the windows. I may even buy one of those 20ft arm wavy thingies to attract attention on show nights.
If anyone is interested in helping with the remodel, let me know. I'm also looking for volunteers to work the house and the tech booth. In addition, I have a couple of positions available for motivated, organized individuals willing to work on commission.
I will let everyone know when we are booking shows again. I plan to start by trying to reschedule everyone whose May shows had to be canceled so we could pull ourselves up by our bootstraps. I'm also going to host a "thank you" party sometime in early June.
Many thanks to all of you who have supported the Lair, especially through the trying "no sign" times. Round Rock's best kept secret is about to become a lot less secret.
What happened to The Lair?

What happened to The Lair?
The last tweet from the theater's account was in mid-May and now the website is offline. There was this post from Alex in May:
