BTW, this rehearsal process has been a TON of fun. We keep cracking each other up, and Lisa Jackson seems continually surprised with what her puppets say.
Hope you all get to come see the show!!

This is pure insanity, it's fun and awesome and is pushing me to be a better performer in lots of ways.
Plus, Sara's puppets are really awesome!

"Crack! The Improvised Puppet Musical"
...is here, so COME AND GET IT!!
Tonight is our opening night. Albert Im will be our special guest star, so come check it out!! AND there will be a party afterwards with eats and drinks, and Mike Joplin spinning some tunes.
Albert Im is a brawny and brainy stand-up comedian, and Snacker improv alum. He has a sense of comedic timing that always sticks its landing. The first joke Albert Im ever wrote was a submission to Laffy Taffy. Back then Laffy Taffy came in squares and the jokes were printed on the inside of the wrapper - it was a very different time. The joke had something to do with trickle-down economics, but he never got a response. Comedy's a tough business.
Albert currently hosts his own interview-style comedy show -- "JabberTalky" -- on the first Wednesday of the month at Ego's @ 7pm.
We are super excited to have Al help us kick off this show. Hope to see you there!!

Tonight is our 2nd night and boy do we have a treat!
Arthur Simone is an improvisational actor, abstract expressionist artist and advocate of the culture of spontaneity. Co-founder of Austin's ColdTowne, he teaches sketch, improv, and acting. He is a champion punster, Air Rocker, and Air Sexer. Arthur won acclaim for his original one-man show, Dear Frailty, and the designation as Best Actor in Austin from the Austin Chronicle.
Arthur is such a great match for playing with puppets. This going to be AWESOME!! Hope to see you there. WAHOOO!!

Tonight is our 3rd out of 6 performances. And it will be a LANDMARK!!!
Les McGeHee (Friday, Aug. 13th) is a cornerstone in the Austin improv community and owner of the Comedy Sportz Austin show. Author of "Plays Well With Others", Les has brought improv to a countless mass of people, on and off stage. Praised by performers and audiences alike, Les really understands the art of entertainment.
Les was pretty much GREATNESS itself last night in rehearsal. This show is going to ROCK! Hope you get to come out and see it!

Tonight's show was GREAT! So says my Mother, my Grandmother (who saw it back in November during its first incarnation)... and my SISTER! Who never comes to see improv bc it is painfully-scary to her!!! And they all laughed lots and said that the rest of the audience was laughing lots, too!! I am super happy that people are coming out to see this show -- and I feel so very lucky to have such a fun-loving, quick-witted & TALENT-PACKED cast...
Asaf Ronen
Bryan Cruz
Clay Towery
Emily Breedlove
Howard Katz
Jesse Overright
Lisa Jackson
Pat Daniel
Patrick Knisley
Peter Rogers
Topping Haggerty
Valerie Ward
If you've come to see it already, come back for more "CRACK!"! Each show has new games, scenes, theme inspired musical, and a SPECIAL Guest Star! Tomorrow we have JOHN RATLIFF!!!
