Hey AIC,
We can all agree posters and flyers are great ways to promote shows and put butts in seats. Are there any affordable options someone like myself or a new troupe has when it comes to making posters and flyers for their shows in Austin? Maybe have a list of willing designers, affordable print shops, great posting places, tips, etc within this thread. Your thoughts and input are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Duke

I will submit myself for poster design, for modest fees/fair trade. (I am unemployed right now, but I own Photoshop) I have done a few things for my own groups, and would be willing to help those who need it.
As far as printing, I am unaware of anywhere, don't have many connections in Austin yet.
Just PM me and I can send you samples of work.

Barring a legion of interns, Motorblade is a great service for distributing flyers.

If you ever get a desire to learn to design:
Don't forget there are tons of free image manipulation programs out there. These are tips from my photoshop pals. At the moment I primarily use GIMP.
The GIMP image editing tool. Very easy to use. Layers like photoshop.

ImageForge. Comes in both free and pay versions.

Ultimate Paint. Has a free version with some functions missing (like Adobe plugins).

Graphics Gale. The free version has some file formats disabled (.gif, .ico,.cur,.ani) but is otherwise fully functional.

Artweaver. A clone of Corel Paint.

Also find tutorials online and follow them. Do a bunch and you'll learn a lot. Even better is find a tutorial that's about making posters in the style you want. Do the tutorial, then follow the steps with your own ideas and images mixed in.
