Battle of The Sexes at The Long Center!

Post by kbadr »

The Hideout's bringing another fantastic show to The Long Center on July 17th, at 10pm.

Image

We're flying in Amber Nash and Kevin Gillese from Dad's Garage to teach some Theatresports workshops (info on that coming soon) and we figured that, while they're down here, we should do a big fun Theatresports show. So, we're doing a Battle of the Sexes Theatresports match at The Long Center!

Representing the Women Folk will be:
Amber Nash (Team Captain)
Jill Bernard
Kacey Samiee

Representing the Men Folk will be:
Kevin Gillese (Team Captain)
Kareem Badr
Troy Miller
Asaf Ronen

In addition to the gender war, there will also be a preliminary bout: Hideout Theatre vs Gnap! Theater Projects

This show is going to be killer! Theatresports produces some fantastic moments and all these teams know how to bring it!

Ticketing information can be found here: http://www.hideouttheatre.com/shows/battleofthesexes

Maybe my counting skills be off, but that looks like one less woman than man in the cast list. Oh, well, it's not like they had a chance anyway . . .

Well, it's over!

Gnap beat The Hideout team and the Women eeked out a victory over the Men. The show was damn near sold out.

The audience was insanely happy and hot, just like with the Johnstone Maestro. That large space is just so well-suited for competitive improv. Love it!

Much fun, indeed; and Roy, I have devised the perfect revenge upon you, but it will be served cold.

Sleep well.
