Hi, everyone

Post by wiggies »

My name is Luis. I've been lurking here (and in the theatres) for a while now, and have decided it's time to show my face. I've been taking classes w/ Shana since last fall (currently in the 401 and also Improv Singing 101). I've met many of you in the mixers and many of you have met my wife, Jessica.

The improv scene here reminds me a lot of the early punk rock scene (ca. 78-82)--very supportive and accepting with lots of cross-pollination to keep things interesting. And so there, now you know how old I am, too!

Hey Luis --

I have often made that exact comparison between improv now and music then. Therefore you are obviously brilliant. Welcome.
