Veteran improvisers Bryan Roberts and Audrey Sansom are Editor and Chief, and they've got two shows in a row. First, at The Hideout on the 22nd, and then at Coldtowne Theater on the 29th. So guess what? They're gonna do two of the following four formats.
One will be voted on, performed at The Hideout, then eliminated, and one of the remaining three will be performed at Coldtowne.
And now, the format list for The Hideout:
Fuck You!: Audrey and Bryan choose a special guest improviser and, at the beginning of the show, verbally berate the improviser for two minutes. Then the improviser leaves and an out of control narrative is created.
Gender Bender!: The most flowy of the three formats. The only rule is that Audrey must play only male characters and Bryan must play only female characters.
Inside the Actor's Bootyhole!: One player plays an experienced, pretentious acting teacher. The other is a young naive student. A long, grueling acting lesson follows, in which the student is humiliated and the teacher can relive glory days.
Snuggle Machine!: A movement experiment. The players are connected with multiple tethers. Thus, one players movement affects the movement of the other player. The players perform scenes normally, controlling each other like puppets.
