It's finally here... the last show in Parallelogramophonograph's 3+ year run at ColdTowne... what we laughingly call The Heat Death of The Universe. This Thursday at 8PM.

Join us for a final show in celebration of everything that's happened in the time in between.

When we first started, we had probably around 20 shows under our belt.

We have now performed roughly 284 shows, the vast majority of them at ColdTowne.

If it weren't for ColdTowne's faith and trust in a new troupe, we wouldn't have accomplished anything close to what we have today, and we certainly wouldn't have had the opportunity to play with so many different formats and show concepts.

So please join us for this last night, The Heat Death of The Universe, and then come celebrate with us at The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, aka The Dog n' Duck Pub.

let's be honest here:

Pgraph has performed with us from the get-go only because they gave us a bag of treats and toys for our first trip out to a festival in AZ, and we decided we'd give them three years in exchange because we value treats and toys

They could have easily had another three years, but their roadtrip treats and toys have been sub-par, so we're kicking them out on their ass

let that be a lesson

let's be honest here:

Austin's improv scene as grown a LOT over the past 3+ years and a big part of that is due to the powerhouse Thursday night performances by Pgraph and CTT (w/ affiliated troupes). I saw a bunch of those shows over the past 3+ years, and I'm better for it.

They could have easily been 2 other groups, but because it was from THESE two, the entertainment value on Thursday nights was guaranteed. And that is worth celebrating.

let that be a lesson

(it takes 3 to develop a pattern)

Can we get tix ahead of time, or do we just need to be at the door early?

Only a few more hours left. There's still a lot of heat around, though.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the show and to the Dog n' Duck. It was a great end to our run.

That show was incredibly fun to watch. Chairs + The Ratliff + everything else = one incredibly satisfied patron

The show was amazing, seeing all my favorite of your formats and some I'd never seen you do before made for quite the spectacular show.

Favorite scenes were the ones that weren't formats, but PGraph go-tos (Orphans and Menstrual Cycles). Sad to see you go, but at least you destroyed the stage on the way out.

Starting in April, the first Saturday of every month is gonna be:

10pm -- ColdTowne and PGraph
11pm -- Midnight Society and Frank Mills
Midnight -- Jam City!

power house!
