I'm-a gettin' interviewed on the radio today!
More specifically, I'm getting interviewed on KOOP (91.7FM, streaming
here) at 6pm, for their
"Writing on the Air" program. We'll be doing staged-readings
(studio'd-readings?) of some sketches I've written for
Sketchwar, and we'll talk about writing sketch comedy, and I'll do my best to pretend I know what I'm talking about.
A bunch of improvisors (Mo, Marc, Jeff, possibly Vines and EmilyBee as well) are coming in to do the actor-y parts.
w00t!

Your manuscript is both good and original, but the part that is good is not original and the part that is original is not good.

Writers are hyperarticulate. But they are not, by nature, friendly, sociable people. Writers are by nature people who observe other people being friendly and sociable and then go home and make fun of them.

Seriously, go listen to the mp3. It's a great script, and a great show.

And I only fumbled/stuttered like three or four times over the half hour or so, which I count as a total win.

Bump!
I'm gonna be on
"Writing on the Air" again tomorrow! Same bat-time (6pm), same bat-channel (91.7 FM). This time we're doing a radio-serial pilot called "Raoul and Dave Confuse the World". w00t!
