Can you prevent indexing for Google?

Just saw the concerns on Facebook concerning indexing posts for search engines like Google. I've noticed that some of my improv forum posts show up on Google. Can you prevent that, or do I have to change my username?

I'm going to let Bob and/or Roy handle this one since I only tend to deal with basic forum administration. If you'd like Kathy, I'd be glad to change your username to something else in addition to whatever other solutions are determined.

I think that having the forums indexed on Google is good for promoting Austin improv, so I think if anyone's got privacy concerns, it's best to just change your username.

Okay - that works for me.

Brad... please change my Username to "KathyRose" (without a space). Does that change also affect existing posts?

Thank you!!

This is one of the reasons I go by Justin D. or some variation of that on message boards and comments sections of websites. Mainly, I'm keeping my online identity away from prying future employer's eyes.
