Kareem, Kareem, Kareem...

I kiss your cheek for this. I never knew they were on this show. And I love their whole act.

However, I still get floored by Peggy Guy. I still fall on the floor and watch this at least
eight times every time I go back to it. Seriously. It's the idea, the execution and how
frickin' real the whole thing is...by just one middle-aged gal. Molly Shannon, eat
your heart out.

I need to investigate them further. All the old Gong Show stuff I've seen is very reminiscent of The Bonzo Dog Band

Oingo Boingo had quite the "weird performance art" phase before Danny Elfman's brother left the group and Danny eventually decided to make OB into an actual band.

I would kill to see them do a live show, but a lot of the band members are suffering from "irreversible hearing loss" and fear that live shows will further the problem.

The same. Also appeared in A Hard Day's Night, I believe, and they are the source for the name of the band Deathcab for Cutie.

I will make you a CD. You will likely love them. Pure madness.

I was watching some of the other acts in the YouTube side bar. Best line ever comes from Barris after one of the acts:

"I don't know why they gonged you. I loved your act. But then, I love faulty plumbing."

Can't stop laughing at that.
