Hey Everyone, my name is Daddyo, and I'm an improviser/musician/teacher
who just moved to Austin a month ago. Everyone calls me Daddyo, except
my children. Is that ironic, Alannis?
I've been music director/actor for a bunch of improv theaters since 1977.
(padded resume on demand)
Roy Janik told me to join this forum, and as he is the first and only person i've met from the community, i am now his indentured servant.
I would really like to meet and play with all of you, and by play with you, obviously i mean in the nicest sense, which is sexu..creatively.
thanks for reading...oh, my real name is eugene.

Greetings, Daddyo!
Welcome to our world (I say that as a transplant myself, but, hell, I will speak for everyone all at the same time because I'm adorable and can do that).

thanks,
It's the best community spirit you'll ever come across. And I say this as a relatively new person to the community. You'll find an incredibly welcoming group of people.

Hey Daddyo-
Welcome to Austin. So exciting to have more improv musician/musical directors in our midst. I teach an improv singing class and I'd love to pick your brain some time.
You should go see Pgraph. They are awesome. (See how friendly everyone is!)
You can also come see Girls Girls Girls Improvised Musicals this Saturday at 10pm at Salvage Vanguard. We do musical stuff, just like it sounds.
Cheers,
Shana

Haha, as Shana implied, there are a lot of wonderful people you should go see. But you can see Pgraph every Thursday, 8 pm, at Coldtowne Theater.
