What are you watching?
Everything else, basically.

Yes, I watch 30 Rock religiously, too. Only show I do that for, really, except for Top Chef when it's in season.
The past few days I've pretty much just been watching stuff with Stephen Fry in it. A Bit of Fry and Laurie, documentaries, the Cambridge Footlights Revue, QI...yeah. In a Fry kinda mood, I guess, haha.

Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana.
If you haven't seen it, he makes a very early appearance (along with Hugh Laurie and Emma Thompson) in the "Bambi" episode of The Young Ones. I saw this series when it aired on MTV in 1985/86 or so and it was my introduction to british comedy (just before python obsession).scook wrote:The past few days I've pretty much just been watching stuff with Stephen Fry in it. I concur. Great use of voice over. I'm usually against the use of voice overs in most shows because it becomes a crutch but they use it extremely well.Asaf wrote:I am very happy that Burn Notice is running again. Awesome show. Catch up on the first two seasons first though.

"Bad Breaks" (their bank episode) was one of the best hourlong episodes of anything I've seen in some time.

Go back to any pilot you can think of and you'll find a bunch of nervous actors just trying not to get fired.

The Inbetweeners: everyone should go watch this, now! It's hilariously inappropriate and also British.
Big Love: it turns out a show about a polygamist with three wives is actually an amazingly entertaining story about manipulation and self deception
Chuck: unfortunately, getting killed in the middle of it's third season. This show has a great plot, even better subplots, an awesome cast, and a great soundtrack
Battlestar Galactica: already dead.
and, yes, 30 Rock
