I've been wondering the same thing for some time now, but not hard enough to actually ask anyone about it.

I did, however, stumble across a very sweet book on mime at Half-Price Books yesterday - this one, should be - and intend on starting to work through it starting now-ish. Although, learning mime from a book seems kind of like (insert your favorite architecture/dance metaphor here), so if anyone comes across some other good resources, give a holler.

My point was that everyday experiences help improvisers much more directly than other types of actors.

Not to get back to serious conversation or anything, but Shannon, you haven't really given your insight onto the original topic of this thread. You're one of the authorities on the subject in the AIC. What say you?
