Hey everyone,
We haven't advertised it much, but we have a panel discussion today at 5:00. This is your chance to hear our plans, ask questions, and give feedback. Of course you can also do that at the various parties, but we give much more realistic answers when sober.

Thanks everyone for coming out! I was a serious blast, and I was up well past 4 a.m.
Stuff continues tonight with the Grand Reopening Shakespeare, the special All-star Maestro, and of course, the afterparty at The Moonbase (Kaci and my house). 507 Sacramento. Shhhh...

That show was super fun, and I hope to be a part of it again if (when?) it comes back.
Also, fuck you, Twitter.

Honestly, I say we make the Great Wheel an annual event for the Hideout's birthday

Agreed! I'll be over on Friday night as soon as I'm released from my duties at the Blanton event. I'm just hoping that the giant wheel doesn't hit "dance party" before I get there.
If it does, maybe we'll just dance until you get there.
I'm glad it didn't come to that, and also that I got to see the whole show because it was 100% awesome. I wasn't wearing socks, but I imagine that if I had been, it would have rocked them. Sorry I'll be missing out on the rest of the weekend

Seconded!
Last night was an absolute blast, shows and parties alike. It's awesome to have such a great reminder of how super fucking sweet everyone here is, and what kickass magic happens when we all come together to rock the damn house. I could not imagine a better group of people to call my friends and colleagues - I love all you guys, and look forward to many, many, many more years of this sweetness to come. Starting tonight! Woo!

All went fabulously. The Shakespeare was lovely - I lent Peter some of my clothes and he made them look fetching. The Maestro was masterful and so fun to play with the crowd of folks I so rarely get to play with. The party was absolutely lovely. Tuesday was adorable.
Only one more show and party today at 2pm - The party is probably right after 3 - so if you want some of Emily's cake, come on down. We'll also be doing some games for prizes and you can see how easy it is to beat a 6 year old.

Okay! It is done, the last cake stuffed child has left the hideout, the Grand Re-Opening was wonderfully Grand. But now it is over -we are open - the Hideout lives. Thanks to all who helped it be that way.

I had a fantastic time all weekend and met nothing but lovely people. I love how inclusive the improv community is. Thank you all for that.
