Count me in Saturday afternoon.

My dream for Hideout/OOB appreciation weekend is to make the downstairs theatre as improv-friendly as the upstairs theatre, with a nice backdrop/flats (aka no torn curtain), legs to mask players on the sides, and a decent lighting plot. Whatever we create would be neutral enough to stay when renters come in.

some of this will have to be done after out of bounds as it may not jive with what we've got in mind for design. we're having a meeting tomorrow night 7-8 to talk about what oob needs and how both spaces can be neatly transitioned out of out of bounds and into the next year. so we should have a good plan of what we need to do this weekend after the thursday meeting.

In case the caulk doesn't hold up, a cheap replacement toilet could probably be found at the Austin Habitat for Humanity Re-Store. Along with a metric tonne of neat building supplies.
The caulk has leaked. It looks like a cheap replacement toilet is the next step. Mike, you up for installing a toilet this weekend?

There's a TV in there that I haven't seen used in a while and maybe we could find a way to get a more efficient desktop now that ones we would need for shows are cheaper than ever.
What do you mean by a more efficient desktop, Brad?

Sorry, I meant to say something about that a little while ago. I recently replaced my toilet and did a lot of research before doing so. I'm pretty sure the caulking thing is actually illegal. Or against some sort of plumbing regulations. Whichever. We did manage to pick up a really nice toilet for about $200 at Home Depot. The place Ben mentions may have ones just as good for cheaper though.

Did anyone want to do stuff with the upstairs sound booth computer? It's been working well for us with iTunes and all, but if anyone wanted to add a bunch of music or take another pass at organizing the sound files, pipe up! Or maybe even try to get the internet working on it.

I'll take a look at the computer upstairs. Been meaning to organize iTunes a bit.

In fact, I'll just take care of the booth if no one else wants to.

Unless something more pressing needs my attention.

I've already got big plans for the booth upstairs. Mostly cleaning it out and reorganizing it to where one person can run everything comfortably without having to be a contortionist. Also, I plan to label everything so that the wiring makes more sense. Also, I'm bringing a trash can to put in there.

If Kareem wants to tackle the PC, that's awesome.

I'll take a look at it and reorganize some playlists at least, and do something with the oh-so-usefully-named "Random" playlists.

Is it worth it to buy expensive tape to cover the cracks on the upstairs stage? It just gets crappy looking again within a month or so.

It looks nice when it's taped, but yeah, it soon looks like shit after a few Girls wear high heels on stage.

What really needs to happen (not going to happen any time soon) is that the stage sections need to be rebuilt more precisely so there won't be those gaps in between the sections.

Screw the tape. If we decide it looks like total crap without the tape, I will fix it later in the week.
