I'm leaving for California that day, but I can tell you I used the cup in 1999, until I dropped mine in a public toilet in Manhattan, and that pretty much ended it for me right there. Also, it hurt to take it out.

I do it to get rid of the orange reminder tab. Is there a way to get rid of that thing without clicking on links, disgusting or otherwise?

PS: Periods are a myth. Periods are a myth. I stamp out.
Damn I love that stamp out rule.

Menstrual blood art is all the rage, ladies!
They say it is theraputic and fun, and you'll never have to pay for the paint (except in the usual way you handle your monthy women's period)!
I have yet to try it myself, but the livejournal community Blood Art, has plenty of supporters and participants.

And of course, there is the German artist Petra Paul, who I think was one of the first to do this. She displayed her art in museums, and both men and women alike hated it. Though some liked it and it gained her attention. Warning: This picture is more gruesome.

In each forum there is a link on the right hand side just above where all the posting starts. It says "mark all topics as read".

This thread is great. Thanks for resurrecting it Mo.

I had a friend in college who did an art installation of her own menstrual blood on canvas. It made the local paper.

All I could think about as I was reading about ovulating and bleeding... period panties. C'mon ladies, I know I'm not the only one with a period panty collection. The worst is whey one of my non-period panties makes the unexpected changeover to the period collection. Those are sad times.
