HAHAHAHA! I say that all the time. OR even more often I'll say, "Oh, my friends in Austin did that."

Dudes in the vid in question: I know Orlando and Payton pretty well and I've seen Avery play a bunch but never officially met him. All quality improvisers.
They call me Dollar Bill 'cause I always make sense.

"It's YES, and..."
"Yes, AND"
"Yes...and..."
"It's both the YES and the AND"
"It all boils down to just, 'Yes, and'"
"It's so simple. 'Yes, And!'"
"It's YES, and..."
"It's all really about the 'Yes, AND"
"...really about the 'YES, and"
"Improv is all about affirmation and adding. But that's just sounds fucking obnoxious. So everyone just says, 'Yes, and...'"
"I never really knew what that meant, but now I get it. It's 'Yes, and...'"

A) "So in improv, to make it work, you say YES to your scene partner's by accepting the ideas he's created..."
B) ..."and then build on those ideas in a way that uses what the two of you have established... THAT'S the AND part!"
A/B) "Yes, And!"

"Life is like improv. You just have to say..." !&

"Improv is life"
"You improvise in life"
"You're improvising right now"
"I'm improvising with you right now!"
