Well, since we agreed to get pyrotechnics for Jill to make it down here, I think it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing to pepper the event with more entertainment, like I know there are tons of sketches people have written, short ones, that could act as runners between the explosions.

And, like Jon was saying, it totally would be cool to blow up symbols of the holiday religions, just to make it an anarchic, irreligious (or all-religious) celebration. Choose your sacred cow and decimate it!

That's too bad Jill. What if we used part of the entertainment budget for fireworks; just for you?

Sorry guys. I can't make it that week. Unless you do something really flashy!!! I have signed a very arrogant contract with Disney that reads, "You are only freed from this obligation if you can find something with even more pizazz than we the Disney Corporation offer, bwah ha ha." That evil laugh is part of the contract!!!

Great to see hear from you again, walkabout4815!

So it looks like things are getting nailed down for the AIC Holiday Party (I still think it should be a 'Christmukkativus' party, but anyway).  We've got a lot of the potluck sorted (though we could still use a bit more liquor), we've got a date (17th December), and Neil's contacting the venue (Barr Mansion) for us.  Done and done (and surprisingly painless, no?).

We now return you to the discussion of 'Christmas imagery in holiday-season improv shows' that we were having before the thread got hija^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hwent in a different direction.

I kind of try to treat it like a job with a deadline, because otherwise, I don't do anything.  I just take naps and watch TV.

i'm not disagreeing that Santa Jayne hats wouldn't be hilarious! i just think it's unfeasible to think we could make one for every single guest.

Marc, i'm not sure about the answer to your question, but it's pretty important so i'll look it up and get back to you. :)

oh, and...WALKABOUT!!!
