Oh, does caffeine count? Then us non-drinkers can play too!
Hell yes.
But you need a lot of it. BOTTOMLESS CUPS!
OT: Speaking of, what's a good coffee shop central/downtown and/or East (that's not Hot Mama's or on campus) with parking?
I love Kick Butt Coffee. Their latte isn't the best, but they make up for it in a super solid straight drip and incredible green tea.
ALSO - They serve booze. So you can drunk text me.

Awright, goddammit. Just got an
outrageous phone bill, mostly due to L's 350+ texts last month.
Y'all texting freaks win. Since no-one answers their effing phone anymore and both L. and my groups of friends and co-workers text us constantly, I put unlimited texting on our plan.
Mind you, I'm not pleased. Oh, I'm pleased that my phone bill will drop dramatically; but I'm not pleased that I've pretty much been forced into caving by textaholics.
Yay for more impersonal communication and fiddling with little f*cking phone keys!

Drunk texting, I can't think of one method which has lost me more friends.

Even 300A drunk phone calls (or, as Vonnegut called it, "Black Cord Fever")?

Have you tried drunk punching?
That usually works for me when the friendships start piling up.

THAT'S what you were doing...i thought it was just really aggressive dancing (mostly because you kept missing everyone).

on the plus side, you took first prize in the dance contest (and took out all the ninja no one else could see which is why it looked like you were missing...it's weird how in retrospect i'm gaining so much more perspective on what was actually happening in that situation...huh...)

I have never liked talking on the phone. There is no reason to put your voice that close to my face. It's a very intimate space that I don't want to offer to just anyone who happens to know ten digits.
I think enough time has passed that I can say I "never" liked things that I only stopped liking in the early 90s. It was telemarketing that did it. It revealed to me how ugly the false intimacy of the telephone is, and I never wanted to speak on the telephone again.
Of course, I spend hours on the phone now, but only with Heiberg. I've even forced my mom to learn to text.
