This thread's been silent for a while.
One of the craziest regular seasons in a long long time. I hope they're back in 2011 without a lockout.
Go Chiefs!!!!!! (we're dead)

PACK PACK PACK.
(Here's to eking out a wildcard slot)
And what about the Seahawks... do you think it's equitable to have divisional competition, since their record is so poor? Really? They are in and other, better teams are out?

if the Packers and Saints play each other, Emily, stay far away from me because I'd have Packermurder in my heart! As it is, I'm trying to remember who might possibly be a Seahawks fan so that I may plan their undoing.

Arthur, the Saints/Hawks is such a gimme game for the Saints... you don't need to make the Seahawks fans any sadder. It will be... brutal.

Lofa Tatupu blitzes first play from scrimmage and goes Bernard Pollard on Drew Brees. I'm just sayin', careful with that "gimme" tag.

Or, Matt Hasselbeck is nearly perfect and Marshawn Lynch (of all people) breaks off a top 10 all-time highlight reel 63-yard TD run. Seriously, that was Jim Brown, Gale Sayers, Eric Dickerson type sh*t. Anybody get a count on the broken tackles?
Also, anybody notice Hasselbeck and the 2nd string RT (Sean Locklear?) keeping up with Lynch and throwing blocks down around the 15? Holy crap!

Apparently nobody informed the Seahawks that this was a "gimme" game for New Orleans.
Who Dat?
Looks like a Seahawk.

Never underestimate the Saints' ability to fuck things up against a lame-ass team.

I actually saw some post game where they slowed down the video and counted the missed/broken tackles. Eight, count 'em, eight out of eleven guys had a shot & blew it.
BTW, I'm sorry to have to say this since he was a great player for the Pack & the Vikes (and the Saints), but Darren Sharper has lost one too many steps to play in this league anymore. Watch the Lynch run or the Williams TD. Even though you don't necessarily expect a safety to be a blazer, you expect the guy to be able to keep the play in front of him (and it's not like Williams has DeSean Jackson speed).
Speaking of safeties; WTF is Roman Harper still doing in the NFL? I know conventional wisdom is to never draft a safety above round 3 or so, but watching the Saints today I really think that may be their biggest need.
My favorite fan sign from the game? "SEA DAT?"
