ATTENTION ALL RECRUITS
DHARMA HEAD OF RECRUITING TO ATTEND LAUNCH

Octagon Global Recruiting, on behalf of the Dharma Initiative, is pleased to announce that Dharma's Head of Recruiting, Mr. Hans Van Eeghen, has confirmed his availability for the launch of our latest recruiting drive at Comic-Con 2008.

"My colleagues at Octagon Global Recruiting assure me that Comic-con hosts some of the brightest minds in the country," said Mr. Van Eeghen. "As Head of Recruiting it is my intention to personally assess the very best of this talent in the hope that they may join us."

The Dharma Initiative will be conducting eligibility assessments at Booth 3529 at Comic-Con, San Diego between July 24th - 27th.

This past week at the San Diego Comic-Con, Dharma Initiative Steals The Show At Lost Panel.

Lots of big hints and teases there.

Thanks, Justin! That's an excellent rundown of the panel. I love that Cuse said his biggest regret is that they didn't get to take Mr. Eko's story arc as far as they wanted to. And Marvin Candle is dead! Oh noes!

I got that Dharma email too, and one from yesterday. I'm thinking its one of those easter eggs like I heard they did after Season 1 where people with specific birthdays and answers got website addresses (Hanzo, etc.) and the like.

Although, Jeez, I really want to just wait until the end of next season before picking this back up. Its too heart rending to have to wait so god darned long.

I dont know if this was brought up earlier, but I was wondering if anyone else is scared that whole "JJ Abrams, Scientologist" jazz will fuck things up.

Also, I rewatched Alias recently, and morbid fear is creeping up.

He's not a Scientologist anymore, is he? I thought he bailed out on that sometime around 2006. He was apparently scared into joining in the first place.

A Scientolgist musician friend of mine tonight said he was still active, but hopefullly she was just buying into things.

From the SF Chronicle in 2006: "Abrams relaxed in a Beverly Hills hotel and described the Three Rejections of Tom. The first cold shoulder came when Cruise broached the subject of Scientology.

"I was aware that Tom was such a huge part of that (Scientology) thing, so very early on, when we started hanging out together, I was very clear with him that (Scientology) was not going to be my path," Abrams says. "I'm Jewish, my wife is Catholic, and we've got our own system."

other than getting to have dinner with Greg Rucka, this was my favorite part of Comic Con.
