That chronicle article summed it up perfectly. Analogy used well!
that it would be like saying, "Since we have so many singer-songwriters here already, why bring that Leonard Cohen guy to town?"
Looking forward to this show!

I'd recommend seeing the documentary in addition to these shows. Besides it being a great show Alex filmed, he managed to capture improv on film in way I've never seen before. Watching it on a big screen felt as close to the live experience as I've ever gotten from a film improv. Here's hoping it gets some theatrical runs and makes its way to DVD (with some of the extra shows he filmed!)

I'll echo what Bob says. It's shot really well and is a good set. Definitely worth seeing for the improv, as well as a small glimpse into each performer's preparation before the show.

The Film's Director wrote:Hello. As some of you know, I recently completed a feature-length documentary called Trust Us, This Is All Made Up, which explores the legendary long-form improvisation of Tj Jagodowski and David Pasquesi. It's funny. Over the next few days, the film will be having its world premiere at SXSW. If you're around, please consider checking it out.
Cheers,
Alex

here are some kind words:
“Trust Us, This Is All Made Up is a unique dissection of two unique minds, the science of their collaboration, and the rewards that come from trusting your partner implicitly and getting out of the art’s way. It’s also really effing funny.” -- The Onion
"Each of their shows is like a fresh, one-act play every night and this is your chance to see one of their hilarious, totally original creations. Not even Mamet or LaBute have done as much for audiences as TJ and David have, so go check this one out..." -- eFilmCritic

Got my show ticket! How do I get a ticket to the movie? Do I have to have a SXSW pass?
Swap Tickets?

Hey Y'all,
Andrew has a ticket for the live show on Sunday and would like to switch it for Monday. Anyone willing to swap? He says something about band practice, needing help from the improv community, nothing ever goes his way, etc. etc. Anyone willing to help him out?
His e-mail address is
drewlio23@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Madeline

If people need to change the night of their reservation, we can do it manually on our end. Just email me with the details (full name, contact info, confirmation number) and we will make sure the reservation list reflects it.

Can someone who went tonight tell me what time the show ended. I've got post-show dinner plans I want to make sure I won't be late for tomorrow.

The show came down a little before 10pm which is probably later than it will be for tomorrow.
