Thanks! Sorry I was late... Texas Relays + 40 Acres Fest (the Roots were on campus) = traffic.
Jessica wrote:Brad is a wonderful house manager. Many a time I've come in to the theater on Sunday and blessed him for how clean and organized everything is. House manager is one of those jobs that the more you don't notice it, the better you are doing your job.
Aww, thanks! I totally agree with the second sentence. At least, that's what I should start telling myself.

I'm at the Hideout on Saturdays a fair amount, and I've noticed him and the stuff he does.
EYES OPEN PEOPLE! EYES OPEN!
Thanks, Kaci... but who are you? Beeler? No, that name still doesn't ring any bells... What the hell is a pgraph?

Although incredibly clever in its original form, I decided to correct the errors in the previous sentence.
For realz, yo, house managing on Saturday nights can be quite a rewarding experience any given week. Anyone who performs regularly on a Saturday can tell you that the loss of 50% of your weeknights each week can suck at times. I wouldn't do it if I didn't enjoy catching shows (some of the best lines I've heard have been from shows I've overheard from the Hideout office), encouraging curious people to come see improv, or learning more about improv from observing everyone else. I think it's helped me become a better improviser, which is always a plus. If I didn't enjoy you fine people who tend to perform on Saturdays, I wouldn't be there either.
I didn't mean to pander for sympathy, but apparently I have. Either way, this thread is totally about LAFF and if you're reading this, you should probably go ahead and sign up to help out. Come overlook me in person! (I kid, I kid)

I saw that you have a photographer...but do you still want a videographer? I've got a decent camera, tripod and film degree that are catching dust...and I can most likely make it all weekend (for sure Friday-Saturday). Heck, I can whip out my really nice camera, if someone assures me protection (that one's expensive; I could be a walking target with that thing!)
Let me know!

Leann, I got very excited and added you to the schedule every night. Please let me know which nights you can't/don't want to show up.

Friday and Saturday I could do for sure. Thursday is late enough where I should be able to make it. Do you know how long each show is? Tapes are typically 60 min long, and I don't know if you can stretch that or not. What kind of quality are you looking at? Are you looking to just through this on the web or for a bigger screen? That'll probably dictate what camera/tapes I use...Ugh, I'm getting all technical about this! Just let me know.
I'm excited too; sounds like a great festival!

hmmm, those are questions i've never had to answer before. Let me chat with the girls and i'll let you know. also, we will replace or give you any supplies you use while filming...tapes and DVDs and the like.
I don't think you need to worry about thursday at this point in time. I think I have some one else to stick there...but i'll let you know.

It's the Ladies Are Funny Festival happening April 24-26 here in Austin at the Hideout. It's an all-ladies comedy festival and it's hosted by Girls Girls Girls.
