Jon you should totally come to game night this Friday at 10pm. It is a great time and a great chance to meet a bunch of folks in the community. Info is in the Events section, I think.

Yeah, you should totally come by! I'm co-hosting the party and I think we met at Level 6 last Saturday. I was in your murder mystery format.

Yes, but not because of time. There are a few games that are known to cause strife between friends, even long after the game is ended. Paranoia. Wiz-War. Diplomacy. The others have a whole heap of fun along with the backstabbery. Diplomacy is pure treachery and evil. That is why it is awesome.

Game-wise, the play is pretty simple. Here's a good step-by-step tutorial, and there's armloads of stuff out there on the webernets. I'll moderate by hand, so we don't need to worry about some computerbot scuzzing things up, and I'll be able to answer questions if people have them. Turns will probably be once a week or so over email, so it doesn't suck up your life. Unless you get addicted to writing in-character conspiratorial missives to the other players...

I reckon we'll start up come January. Still a slot or two open. Holler.

A voice in my head is telling me I'll regret this, but... I'm in.

oh man, I want to play but I don't think my heart can take the emotional intensity...

Marc, if you decide you want to play instead I'd be happy to moderate again (at the slower pace you suggested). Or if you want a map I layered up for ease of use, let me know.
