Thanks for the consideration but the American Airlines gag won. meh.
slappywhite wrote:Huh I took the "Borrow your Cessna" to mean he wants another airplane to fly up and chase after his first airplane, which struck me as funny...

That was the idea. Plus, I always thought the word "Cessna" was inherently funny. Like Uranus.

This was actually my second nomination and I won the first time around with contest #77. That was when I was still living in Calif.

The coolest part was that they never sent me my prize until a full year had passed. I got to trade all sorts of email with Bob Mankoff and Farley Katz (who is the intern who chooses the three entries for each contest). I finally got the signed print and went to Aaron Brothers on Brodie to frame it. They couldn't have cared less about my story. Philistines!

Stick around, Mike, and you'll have the power of Austin Improv behind your future nominations. Or at least the dozen or so people still paying attention to this thread.

Thanks!

I got my mother to vote for this one but I had to convince her that it was the funniest. She still misses Buddy Hackett.

Sure I might have an extra chromosome, but thanks to Activia, I poop everyday at 11:30.
They call me Dollar Bill 'cause I always make sense.
