I like the consolidating, but let's keep old posts around for posterity.

i give an ok to consolidating oob into one thing.

i would like to be able to avoid the stump forum.

i find that other improv forums out there are not divided up enough. i dont use any fancy "new posts" technology and dont sign in unless i'm posting which is only occasionally.

i'd say its good to have those initial filters unless something doesn't interest you, but i also read every new post because i'm particular and dont want to miss anything, except for "the stump" and the "say hello" one.

I'd also like to suggest a sub-forum within casting for Maestro. I know it takes up a lot of the casting area and it might be easier to consolidate those threads. It's better than locating it in the old Maestro forum like we used to and still makes it easy enough to find within casting. Plus, it would helpful for the parties that track cast listings and who played each night.

And Bob will definitely handle this, once everything is clearly finalized/discussed. Things have been static for long enough that it's helpful to have a discussion for maybe a few weeks.

I tried that. It doesn't work out so well. I think it was the plush armored divisions that threw everyone off.

I started the process with a Maestro casting forum. I'll try to keep going from there.

Let's burn it up

Now that my year-long Swedish cabling project is wrapping up, let me see if I can make something good happen. Props to Brad for being on the ball.

I am generally apathetic in these situations, but I must say that when I first got on it was nice to look through old postings and gather splatterings of topics, theories and gossip to know what the scene was like,before I even met anyone.

But I'm caught up now, so don't hold onto anything for me.

I haven't been deleting posts. Just consolidating them all into larger boards.

Can we get an update? I noticed some stuff is moved. Where did stuff go? What is the plan for the rest?

Whoops, sorry not to mention some of that, Bill. Here's what I've moved around so far. Roy's template is pretty solid, and with Jeremy's consent on consolidating the OoB stuff, here's what I managed to accomplish before possibly crashing the forums the other day.

Book Club --> General Discussion
AIC Education --> AIC General Discussion
AIC Marketing --> AIC General Discussion
AIC Schedule --> AIC General Discussion
AIC Fundraising --> AIC General Discussion
OoB Announcements --> OOB Discussion
Oob Coach Xchange --> OOB Discussion
