What's really sad is the dawning realization that this is a brilliant viral marketing campaign by Micro$oft.
Its unbelievable horrendousness made me watch it and share it with other people because of just how awful it was.
...I feel dirty now.
(Maybe the Bill Gates/Seinfeld ads were not terrible mistakes after all but were deliberately that bad... part of a master plan of evil...)

Three things about the horribleness of this ad;
1. are we sure it is not from 1997? because in that case it would be a pretty awesome app.
2.possibly this was produced by the Tim and Eric awesome show and it is a deeply imbedded joke.
3. the daughter's singing sounds quite a lot like the female vocalist from Dr. Horrible's sing along blog. Is there some sort of Joss Whedon fingerprints on this?
