Roy Janik wrote:Oh, and we tried the harshest game ever, which Sean Hill had described to me and Kaci yesterday. We had two improvisers do a scene while 2 others did blow-by-blow commentary on their improvising.
I gotta admit, that was painful. When I switched to commentator, it was hard to watch their scene because I was still aching from self-criticism exacerbated by the commentary. I'm boycotting that game until I figure out a way to beat it.

I'll be there like a fat man dressed up like Sailor Moon at an anime convention.
*Note: Despite the analogy, rumors, or past events, I will not show up in a Sailor Moon outfit again.

Wow - what great fun that was! Asaf thanks for leading - and thanks for giving us some great tools to add to the improv belt!

Asaf says there were 20+ people there yesterday, so it's been another banner week for the Tuesday Jam.

I had a lot of fun at the jam last night. Asaf had some really good exercises that were both accessible and challenging. There were TONS of new faces there. (to me at least) I'm going to try and help out more often when I have free time on Tuesdays.

For the 2nd week in a row, Asaf returns to help run the jam with his big back of tricks.
Be there and help show new people the joy of improv.

Sorry I had to bail on this. My mom's car broke down and I spent the evening going to Auto Zone and effecting minor repairs and calming my mom down. I'll be there next week.

Jam tonight!
I'm not sure who's running things, so the more experienced players who can be there, the better.
It's been really crowded lately, with anywhere from 15 to 30 people. Not sure what it'll be like tonight, but it should be fun.
