Well, I'm in. 3-5... 8-10... 25 or 6 to 4... Doesn't matter to me. This has been a great experience and I only expect it to get better. For anyone who is on the fence about attending - just show up. You will not regret it. This is an opportunity to learn and do, as well as have a great time working with some fantastic improvisors.

Doesn't the Austin Shakespeare thingy know that the people who stand in front of the stage at the Globe Theatre are called, um, Groundlings? Hello!?

I think the idea is, each week you are to try to expose yourself to a bit more of Shakespeare's plays:
- memorize 6 lines from a play
- read an unfamiliar play
- watch a movie version of a play
- etc.
However, my understanding is that if you are at all interested in Improvised Shakespeare you should attend and help make the workshop happen -- whether you've done any "homework" or not.
Workshop: 3-5pm Sunday
The past two weeks, the group has been thinking about rhythm... Here is Wikipedia's explination of Iambic Pentameter. This stuff killed me in HS, but now with it in the context of improv, it seems much more interesting.

Shakespeare is 3-5 this Sunday. If you've memorized some lines, come. If you haven't, definitely come. These rehearsals are a lot of fun and some hardcore improv, so step up.
